two of them were on it for hours and it seemed that one was trying to push the other crab off of it...they were on top of the hut..is there anyway i can prevent them from this? or anyone could tell me why this happened? please helpMy hermit crabs were fighting?
This may just be them trying to establish dominance, but if it continues I would recommend separating them.
Although, it depends on the size of the tank they are in. 3 Hermit crabs would probably need 10-15 gallons and up (I have 2 in a 10 gallon). If your tank is too small, they probably feel crowded, which will lead to a lot of stress and bickering, which will kill them if its not solved.My hermit crabs were fighting?

They're forced to fight for this one place.
Just let them go where they might survive in the wild? They're not pets in any sense? They're not 'yours'.
