Best restaurant in Pensacola,FL??

My boyfriend and I will be in Pensacola for a night, we are looking for a good restaurant to eat at, NOT a applebees or ruby tuesday. We would have liked to went to Joe's Crab Shack but there is not one in Pcola. We are just looking for a nice environment, not a bunch of drunk college students hanging out at the bar like some of the restaurants on the boardwalk. Any suggestions would be great. Carrabbas Italian Grill!!! Mmmmm I worked there before I went into the military it was soooooo good! And its not like olive garden or other restaurants... they actually prep all of their food in the morning so thats why its open only for 'dinner hours' cause they're prepping the wholle morning and early afternoon...

I used to live in Pensacola, and two of my favorite local restaurants were Jerry's Cajun Cafe and McGuire's Irish Pub. Both are popular, and McGuire's has won numerous awards. We had my rehearsal dinner at McGuire's, and all of my guests loved the food and the atmosphere. Jerry's is also great, and is very affordable. Their shrimp po'boys are excellent!

If you really want to go to Joe's Crab Shack and dont mind driving about 20 minutes to get to it, there is one in Destin, FL which is the closest. Destin is a gorgeous little beach town bordering pensacola, and it would actually be quite romantic to drive over there just for dinner and maybe a beach stroll.

Check out Joey Patti's Seafood Deli. They have the best seafood in town. Very friendly staff and very reasonable prices. They are open Tues-Sat. (closed Sun %26amp; Mon). They close at 5pm tues-fri and 4:30 on Sat. You will be very satisfied.
