The drink was alcoholic and blue in color, was garnished with a pineapple, cherry.

I used to eat at Joe's Crab Shack ALL the time. They have a drink called a Shark Bite which has BLUE CURACAO in it...and I remember a nice garnish on the side. That seems like it could be it...it's amazing!!!! Good luck...try out their website.
