Crab shack on stilts in MD?

When I was a kid my parents took me to a rickety-looking restaurant on stilts, over the water, somewhere in Maryland. We ate piles of blue crab on newspaper and it was AWESOME!

I'm visiting the Baltimore and Annapolis area later this month and wondered if anyone knows of a place like this, or any where with similar atmosphere and good crab.Crab shack on stilts in MD?
sadly, you've essentially described almost every crab shack in the state. one of the answerers recommended The Rusty Scupper; that restaurant certainly isn't a "shack" by an means, because it is probably one of the priciest restaurant in the swanky Inner Habor of Baltimore. It has fantastic crabcakes, but I'm almost positive that they don't serve all you can eat crabs. Find out where you're staying and then look around for a good crab house. Locals, hotel workers, and maybe even relatives that you may have can definitely give you the low down.
well there is a place that's on stilts named the rusty scupper but it looks really nice on the inside and i don't know if they serve regular crabs but i know they serve crab dishes.Crab shack on stilts in MD?
Sounds like St. Michel's Island....I have only been there by boat. That is the way they serve their crabs, it is out on a dock.
Well sounds like something they would Serve in Ocean City on the Boardwalk....
