I am 26 and have a B.A. good people skills. I wouldnt mind giving the restaurant industry a shot...though most of my life i have managed or worked in an office. i live in schaumburg where there are 10 restaurants on every block: here are a few:
TGIF, weber grill, joes crab shack, red lobster, hooters (not interested), fuddruckers, pf chang's, red robin, cheesecake factory, etc. etc. What is the best restuarant to work for? i am looking for work and might give it a shot?
All chains are fairly similar. I would pick one with a good training program for managers given that you have no experience. I should warn you, they generally want experience to hire you. What is the best restuarant to work for? i am looking for work and might give it a shot?
I would go with either Red Lobster or P.F. Changs because for one, the food prices are on the higher end which means people can probably afford to pay you good tips. Good Luck!
