That does depend on what is important to you. The Olive Garden is the best for quantity, good quality, good service. But the wait for a table can be up to an hour and a half for dinner (no reservations). Red Lobster has good food, service o.k., wait isn't usually that long. Out Back and Applebee's does tend to disappoint if you are looking for a good meal. Here are places for people to hang out and talk, socialize. They are informal and relaxing. The quality of food is not the main focus. I am not familiar with Joes Crab Shack.

Applebees because we don't have those in Canada.



Red Lobster is where bad lobsters go to die, Olive Garden is a okay generic Italian eatery, there are better steakhouses than Outback.

Are these my only choices?

Can I recommend a place that is not a chain? Or if I have to name a chain, I'd say the best is Capital Grille or maybe even The Chart House.



Joes Crab Shack just sounds wretched.
